Martin's Cove Youth Conference
We had the amazing opportunity to go with our Youth Group to Martin's Cove in Wyoming. We had about 55 youth and 15 adults. Kirk and I had 4 of our 6 children in the Youth Program. Here at Martin's Cove we learned about the Pioneers who traveled to Utah from Iowa City to Zion. It was a life changing time of our lives. We were able to grow more of a love and appreciation for those who have come before us. They gave up so much so! Please take a moment and read about the Martin and Willi's Handcart Companies. We have a new appreciation for what those who have gone before us have done for us and realize that we need to do more!
Our Family Home
Our family set a goal a few years ago to build a new home and we were blessed with the chance to build last year. So, in June of 2007 we broke ground! Our home was built by the sweat of our brow. Kirk, Kevin, and our boys along with some of our extended family build the home from the ground up. We were able to move in, in April 2008. This home was a labor of love in many ways. We have so many of our Family members to thank for all their help in getting our home done. We as a family learned a new form of sacrifice. They gave up many hours of play and entertainement. The sacrifice was so worth it though and we look forward to having Family and Friends come and play and stay!

Our Kids Achievements
Aaron graduated from High School in May 2008. Aaron was able to go to State for Golf. Jared took 3rd at the North Sanpete Tournament and also took 2nd place in Region Wrestles. Chad's Football team took 2nd in State for 8th grade team. Katelynne has a good little voice and sings with the C-Minor group in town. Joshua was able to take 2nd in the ATV Rodeo in 2007, and to end the year our youngest graduated from Pre-School. We are so gratefull for the amazing kids that we have been blessed with and we enjoy supporting all their activities and love to see them recieve achievements for their hard work and efforts!
